Alan, Thank you so much for your enormous contribution to our wedding. You offered an EXCEPTIONAL service to us at every turn, and we wouldn’t have changed a thing about it. Leading up to our wedding day, you were there to guide us, offer suggestions, and answer any questions that we had. Your responses were relevant, timely and above all – helpful – and right on the mark! Your incredible friendly professionalism put us at ease and gave us the confidence we needed to be able to enjoy our day. The service that you delivered on our wedding day was PERFECT! We loved knowing that you had a plan for everything, and that you would work things out quietly and without making any hitches (like when our cake arrived hours late) noticeable to anyone else. You kept our guests involved and having fun – that dance floor was going all night long! One of the points that really stood out to us was how seamlessly your verbal and musical changes affected the proper mood changes in our reception. For me, one of the most touching aspects of working with you was how gently you steered me in the right direction on some of the more sensitive aspects of our reception, from song choices to a special father-daughter dance. You always had time for our emails and phone calls, you delivered on everything that you said you would, and you did it all in a timely manner. Never once did we feel like we were waiting on you. Again, thank you so much for your contribution – it just meant the world to us, and we LOVE getting compliments on our vendor and venue choices even weeks after the event, You made our night so special! 🙂

You being under the weather the day of our wedding did not affect your professionalism, we would not have ever known you had a cold! We will HIGHLY recommend your services for any future events with friends and family and will definitely contact you for our own upcoming venues! You may have to provide your skills up here in the Bay Area!!

My husband and I got married on 11/11/11 and our main focus was to have a fun and entertaining wedding that would be remembered for a long time to come. From the first meeting, Alan’s professionalism made us feel comfortable and we knew we found the perfect fit for us ,he really eased our nerves for an already stressful event . Even selecting our “must have ” songs was easy with the program he uses and importantly , he worked incredibly well with the other vendors at our event. Alan’s knowledge and personality really shined through from the start of the ceremony to the end of the reception. From the youngest child to the oldest senior, Alan’s selection in music suited everyones tastes. I don’t believe there was a time when the dance floor was empty.

To us , Alan wasn’t JUST a DJ spinning records behind a table, he was fun ,entertaining, and involved in the crowd. His glowing smile , entertaining soul and warm hearted personality made for a very memorable wedding. You know you chose the right DJ when all your guests say that this was one of the funnest weddings they have been to in a very long time . We would recommend Alan for ANY type of event you are planning , you will not be disappointed !

DJ Alan was SO wonderful as emcee and DJ at our wedding reception on 2/17/13! He made the night flow perfectly according to how my husband and I wanted and truly made our special day that much more special and enjoyable! With his stage presence and radio-ready voice, he doesn’t overwhelm the audience and doesn’t take the spotlight away from the couple-of-the-moment…in fact, his professionalism casts the spotlight even brighter onto the newly married couple because you will be throwing the party of the year if you book DJ Alan Meade! We actually had the great fortune of seeing DJ Alan in action at my now sister-in-law’s wedding last October before we booked him…and he did not disappoint on our big day!! I got SO many compliments from family and friends on how much fun the reception was, and how impressive our DJ was–we were confident that we would have the party of the year with DJ Alan and he absolutely took care of business! 

Once you book DJ Alan, he sets you up with an online planning account where you choose all of your playlist (including a “do NOT playlist” — which is absolutely brilliant) and determine your own timeline so you can select how you want your evening to flow. This was an amazing tool and I got to select all of my old school hip hop and r&b jams (none of the more recent Top 40 garbage–blech), as well as choose special music for dinner time (Sinatra, other crooners per my husband’s more refined taste 😉 and of course specific songs for the first dance/bouquet & garter toss/cake cutting, etc. The online planning tool was super easy to use and was really helpful in determining the flow of the reception.
I had SUCH a wonderful time at my reception because I didn’t have to worry about my timeline — thanks to DJ Alan!! 

DJ Alan is so awesome that another one of my husband’s siblings has also booked him for his wedding in July! I can’t wait to boogie down with DJ Alan again! I hope I get the chance to hire him again because I would do it in a heartbeat!
